Joe Turkel Kimdir? Joe Turkel, Amerikalı bir aktördür.

Joe Turkel, 15 Temmuz 1927 günü Brooklyn, New York, ABD‘de dünyaya gözlerini açtı. Babasının adı Benjamin Turkel, annesinin adı ise Gazella Turkel‘dir.

Ufaklığından beri oyuncu olmak istiyordu. Pek çok filmde kendi ismin ile yer aldı. En bilinen karakterleri “Cinnet” isimli filmdeki hayalet barmen Lloyd ve “Ölüm Takibi” isimli filmde eksantrik Tanrı figürü Dr. Eldon Tyrell’dır.

Stanley Kubrick ile birlikte 3 kez çalışma fırsatı yakalayan iki aktörden biridir. Diğer Philip Stone’dur. Kubrick ile birlikte 1956 yapımı “The Killing” (“Tiny” rolü), 1957 yapımı “Paths of Glory” ve “Cinnet” filmleridir. 1960 yapımı “The Boy and the Pirates” , “The Dark Side of the Moon” ve 1966 yapımı “The Sand Pebbles” filmlerinde de rol aldı.

Turkel, 27 Haziran 2022 günü 94 yaşında iken Santa Monica, Kaliforniya‘da yer alan bir hastanede vefat etti.
